Sana Khawaja

Sana Khawaja is a fourth year student at the University of Virginia. She hopes to finish her degree in Anthropology with a minor in global sustainability in May 2014. She is especially interested in globalization and development and the intersection between art and anthropology in an increasingly globalized world. She grew up in Washington DC, attending an international school which further fostered her love for travel and exploring new places. In her free time you can find her hoop dancing or drawing, activities she particularly enjoys doing in the sunshine. She looked forward to a challenging and engaging summer with the Heritable Innovation Trust and in particular being able to work with Mudhouse, a go to for a local coffee lover.
