Alex Stott

Alex Stott graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Mathematics in 2012. Since then, he has been working with M·CAM full-time, focusing on interface development for and external deployment of M·CAM’s text analysis systems. He has joined the H.I.T. team in order to further M·CAM’s mission to align innovation to value exchange, enabling global equivalent access, while also taking a chance to return to the Andes, which he visited several times in grade school and college.

He harbors a deep passion for learning with interests including astronomy, biology, world languages, and memory techniques. When not ensconced in a textbook on one of these subjects, he enjoys hiking in Shenandoah National Park, memorizing modernist poetry, and practicing Tuvan throat singing.

He is very excited to be part of the team and looks forward to participating in such an important initiative.
